Limerick Films (BE) produces cinematic and socially engaging documentaries on the issues of our time. Our films gained international exposure, screenings and awards throughout Europe, in the US, UK, Asia and Africa, both on the festival circuit as on TV and on VOD.

 

Limerick Films is a member of Documentary Association Europe and EURODOC and was one of the trailblazing companies at Emerging Producers 2017.

ELEPHANT'S DREAM (2015), chronicling the struggles and dreams of public sector workers in Kinshasa, DRC, was coproduced and directed by owner Kristof Bilsen and was acquired by Netflix US in 2017/18. It screened at 50+ festivals worldwide, winning various awards.

MOTHER (2019), was broadcasted on Al Jazeera English, described by The Guardian as “Stunning and heartbreaking” (5 out of 5 stars). The film was theatrically distributed in the UK with international acclaim. It was executive produced by Kirsten Johnson (Dick Johnson is Dead
